Welcome to the Coastal Region Hazardous Materials Response Organization (CRHMRO) website. This organization was formed in the early 1990's by a small group of hazmat responders from S.F. Bay Area public agencies and private industry. The goals at the time were to network, display equipment, share response plans and ideas, train together, and practice responding to hazmat drills together. Since then we have organized ourselves to meet regularly to discuss response and training opportunities, and to present a Hazardous Materials Transportation Conference, which was just completed in April 2012.
